Why a site enters into sandbox?
Either a new site is fallen into sandbox of google or a site which have newly generated bulk of links is fallen here. Actually sandbox is a phenomenon/process running for 6-7 months.f a higher PR site is gone in sandbox due to second reason, then there are chances of its decline in PR. There seems to be a delay of about 6-8 months. I've checked with many site owners and SEOs and I haven't found anyone who's gotten a brand new domain ranked well in Google.
It is when, google needs to inpect a site,it reaches in the sandbox.Generally 3-4 months to 7-8 months. Google checks whether the site is spam or not.In the mean time,site willbe out of SERP for any particular keyword. After it gets out of sandbox,SERP is again obtained. In case any spamming or black hat techniques,it is banned.
